Time Kufc, probably a nice way of saying Time Fuck because that’s what this game quickly becomes. I tore myself away from this one after I realized the damage it can do to my life. The child of Edmund McMillen Time Kufc was one of the many titles display in the Indie Game Arcade at the Eurogamer Expo in London.
It was a very simple yet dynamic title. You control a little man and are simply trying to go through a door on the other side of the level. The terrain isn’t always accommodating so you change planes to a mirror image of the level. Navigating the level may involve throwing switches, moving blocks, and flipping back and forth between the mirrored planes. Realizing you can manipulate not just your characters location but the world itself is key to getting through the levels.
My time with it was very enjoyable, I wish I had more to spend on it but BRINK was calling. Time Kufc is a 2D great puzzler that has plenty of room to grow on you. It is simple and attractive, if it was on a mobile format I probably wouldn’t put it down ever.
