Nerf gun

Nerf N-Strike Elite was the third game I previewed at the EA Blogger’s Day. This is a really cool multiplayer game for the whole family, one that you can play with your kids or your friends or both. The game comes with a Nerf gun that can shoot real nerf bullets, but pop the Wii remote inside and it becomes your weapon of choice to kill robots. Yes, robots… kill the robot and rack up points. Try to beat your teammates by getting the high score.

You start the game as a team of four, and if you don’t have enough human players then it fills in with bots. Even though each player has a point score, you must still work as a team to reach the end and finish the chapter.  Movement on the map is simple, the map moves you along as if you were on a conveyor belt, while all you have to do is shoot. After completing the first chapter another map unlocks. It takes about 15 minutes to get through a map and they get progressively harder as you play.

One of the cool new features is the Red Reveal. At certain points in the game you look through the red scope and get secret code words to use later. I suggest writing them down as you play. Guns can be customized and upgraded as you earn parts and points. Our group had the best time trying to out shoot each other.

This game is set to release on Oct 27th, 2009 and should be pretty fun.
