Fallout 3 DLC Finally Coming to the PS3?

After having to wait nearly a year since the launch of the game, it looks as if Bethesda is finally releasing DLC for the PS3 version of Fallout 3. I actually stumbled upon this as I was browsing through the EB Games website. It appears that come October 13th, PS3 gamers will be able to get their DLC fix for $60 with the Game o the Year edition. The decision by Bethesda to release this DLC on the PS3 should satisfy previously disgruntled owners who have had to wait while PC and 360 gamers were treated to all 5 expansions. In order to cater to the majority of players who already own the game, Bethesda will probably release each expansion for $10 (similar to the 360/PC) or perhaps package them all together in one for a lower price.

  1. Power Food for Zzz's

Ah, this is why I always play games like Fallout and Oblivion on PC. DLC, patches, and mods (especially mods) FTW.

  2. Agreed with Power Food there – Bethesda games are the best on PC.

Although hard to consider this “DLC” for the PS3 – perhaps “buyable content?”

  3. They’re going to be releasing them piece-meal as downloads as well, hopefully before they’re all available at retail.

  4. Broken Steel and Point Lookout are probably the best two in terms of value for the money if you go that way.

  5. I actually need to write my Fallout 3 complete DLC review (I’ve finished them all :) )
