I’m in the boat of already owning a PS3, but buying a Slim anyway. My 60GB launch console is having trouble reading discs, so I’d rather be safe than sorry.
Buying a slim at Christmas, then trading it with my friend who has a secondgen PS3 with the PS2 emulator. Keeping the hard drive of course. =)
