High Voltage Developing for Xbox 360 & PS3

They’re not just Wii developers anymore. High Voltage, the people behind The Conduit, have entered into a lifetime license agreement with Terminal Reality for their Infernal Engine, which powered the recent Ghostbusters game. This will allow High Voltage to branch out into development for all platforms.

The Conduit wasn’t the best reviewed game out there, but I thought it was decent. The engine is very powerful, so that’s under their belts. It wouldn’t surprise me to see High Voltage going multiplatform with all future titles incorporating the Infernal Engine on the 360/PS3 and using their own Quantum3 engine for the Wii side of things.

I’ve been impressed with the Infernal Engine and what it can offer to various games. Only time will tell, but Terminal Reality may be the next Epic in terms of engine licensing.
