Most games have boring box art. Borderlands does not fall into that category. Freaky guy fake blowing his head off… check. Awesome action in the blood splatter from where said bullet would travel… check. Successfully getting me even more excited for this game to ship in October… check.
I have a feeling that Borderlands is going to be a breakout hit. It’s a solid shooter with great RPG elements and tons of loot. Throw in millions of weapon possibilities and you have a recipe for success. October 20th can’t come soon enough.
This is one of three games with an October release that I’m pre-ordering…that’s going to be a busy month.

The scene in that dude’s headmilk reminds me of Mad Max:
“Just walk away…………and we will spare your lives………Just walk away…….”
Ouch. Interpretation differences. I see this more as a pun of “This game is going to blow your mind.” It also appears to be more of a threat than some silly suicide advocation. That won’t stop the media from explaining it the same way you did. I’m interested in seeing which clips they use to spin the report.
