I’m a bit confused at this one, since it seemed Capcom was leaning towards the PSN for the lead release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2. PS3 users got an exclusive demo to get them excited for the game, but Xbox 360 users will get the full game two weeks earlier (Xbox 360 release July 29th, PS3 release August 13th).
I don’t know how the deal went down, but this is surely going to mean a dramatic sales difference between the two platforms. Personally, I’ll be waiting the two weeks and picking this up on the PS3. Why, you might ask? The Xbox 360 D-pad is horrific for 2D fighting games, that’s why.
We’ve reached out to Capcom for comment on the two week release difference, but no response was received by press time. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 will be $15 (or 1200 banana bucks) when it drops for each console.

Heh, the PlayStation gets a demo but xbox gets it early.
