It’s not late June anymore. PS3 owners should have seen Operation Anchorage already for their stepchild version of Fallout 3 (in terms of DLC). But alas, there’s been some sort of delay. However, Bethesda has been keeping tight lipped on the subject.
Pete Hines, VP of Marketing over at Bethesda, told G4TV that “[We'll] have [an] update for folks on that next week.” Hopefully that announcement is something along the lines of “It’s coming now” or “Next week”. I have my doubts.
I have to ask at this point: do you even care about the Fallout 3 DLC coming to the PS3? I own and have played the PS3 version of the game, but I doubt I’ll be picking these up. We’ve already heard everything about the content from those on the Xbox 360 and PC. Maybe it’s just me. Let us know in the comments.

Where is the dlc for the PS3? Ever since i bought fallout 3 i’ve been waiting for them. The game is outstanding but after months of hearing how awesome the dlcs r as soon as i can im going purchase them. If anything the wait has made me want them even more.
I care, and want to play, but am very compelled to just wait till the GOTY edition comes out. It’s not like my patient hasn’t already been tested. I get to decide this weekend if I’m gonna trade it in or not. I think I’m leaning more for trading than against it. But regardless I will play those DLC’s
I wouldn’t pay any money for the 5 downloadable content packs for ps3. In October, there will be a Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition which will have all 5 packs included. And if they postpone that, then I will boycot Bethesda for giving preferential treatment to Microsoft.
i agree with you
I learned my lesson with Oblivion…and if I were to actually buy Fallout 3, it wouldn’t be for the PS3. I got tired of Bethesda not supporting the PS3 version of Oblivion with the little bits and pieces of add-on content they added to the game, so I sold it and bought the 360 version. Any new game Bethesda releases that I want, I’ll get for the 360 just because of that.
I think its lame that they give preferential treatment to the 360, but since I have both consoles, I have the luxury of choice as to which one I want to buy the game for.
I agree with you and I am thinking about getting a 360 to have that same choice.
I’ll buy it. I’ll buy anything from the fallout franchise – I’ve been playing these games since I was a kid and it would take a George Lucas level of screwing up the franchise before I abandoned it.
That being said, I’m not buying any of Bethesda’s other products ever.
To sell me the game then after the fact tell me I’d never get the DLC…
To tell me the DLC is comming then blow the release date…
That just sucks. The whole reason I bought a game console this generation (the PS3) was to play this game…
If the publisher had been upfront about their plans to #*#* over the PS3 owners – I’d have bought the Xbox 360
Exclusive content for the sake of exclusivity sucks and is anticompetitve.
me neither. Oblivion & Fallout 3 were the best games ever, but Bethesda’s has no loyalty whatsoever to ps3 users. I will not buy another Bethesda game.
I had the PS3 version. But with no DLC readily available I traded it for the 360 version – and the DLC is great.
Of course my 360 is RROD’d and I cant play FO3 now. I’m sure there’s a lesson to be had here but damned if I know what it is…
DAMN U BETHESDA! I have been waiting all these months since they said dlc was coing out in JUNE! and now they say it’l be in july!? what the hell!!!!!! It better come out!
Now it’s the 15th!!! RAAAAAW!!! IM SICK OF WAITING!!!!!!!!!!
i personally love fallout 3, i am playing it on and off, i havent completed it yet becuase i am waiting for the expansions as i will purchase them. personally i would rather play on a system that works and wait for the downloads than to buy them and get RROD and waste the money, and the time i put it. but unlike alot of people i can afford to buy games when they come out so i have plenty to keep me busy. working on call of juarez right now, along with fuel, little big planet (a little late jumping on that game i know) call of duty 5, ufc 2009 and a few others that i play in spurts. waiting is no big deal, fall out 3 was great, and bethesda puts alot of work into their games so they are enjoyable.
i do however agree of getting tired of 360 loyalty from companies, personally i think microsoft just buys everyone to do crap like this since they have the money…any other company that released a system as fualty as their and know about it when it happens, would have been out of business, but money makes the world go around and people screw eachother over and microsoft has a way with people…like all the idiots pre-ordering windows 7 which everyone knows it will be buggy as hell..i think becuase people like free addons…buy an xbox 360, get RROD for no extra charge, pre order windows 7 and get free viruses. go figure. i will never understand people and their ways.
dont get me wrong, though i sound like a fan boy i just wanted a system that works, and nintendo is to kiddy for me, and after having 4 360’s crap out i think i deserve to bash the the big M SOFT as i have no respect for them at all. since i have had my ps3 i have had no issues, and untill another company comes along that makes good games for adult players i am stuck with sony and i dont regret it.
stop crying and buy an xbox!¬!!!!1
