Battlefield 1943 Launch Trailer

Battlefield 1943 dropped yesterday on Xbox 360 and is coming out later today on the PS3. After some server overload issues, the game seems to be running normally. From what we’ve played, it’s a shit-ton of fun and worth the $15 cost of admission. Check out the launch trailer, go buy the game, and meet us on online for a frag-fest.

    This game is a blast. I love the interactive environments, ala Red Faction. And the vehicles are suprisingly easy to control, and give it a LOT of re-play value.

    I’ve been playing so much Halo and Call of Duty lately, that the controls took me quite a few rounds to get a handle on.

    Also, the server issues will be ironed out over the next couple days, I’m sure.

    I was in one round that was completely mis-matched. 2 Japanese (me and another guy), against 8 Americans. I got WASTED constantly.

    It’s winner in my book, and worth every second.
