At Bungie, July 7th is basically Christmas, Kwanzaa, and Guy Fawkes all rolled into one for fans of its games, specifically Halo. New maps for Halo 3: ODST have been revealed. They look pretty awesome and I cannot wait until September to stomp some Covenant ass. The maps are after the jump with a short description of each.
Heretic. A throwback to the Halo 2 map, Midship, this map takes place, well, inside of a Covenant ship. Very purple and a lot of places to shoot down from.
Citadel. This is taken from the Citadel mission in Halo 3. It looks like it could be small with a lot of doors and rooms. Expect shotguns and plasmas to rule here.
Longshore. It’s big. Real big. It is a port from what was New Mombasa. This could be a great Big Team Battle board. Some CTF, some big slayer. Some big drops to elbow someone off of.
Ya i saw longshore a long time ago like from a friend that somehow hacked the halo… But he had a pic on his fileshare of a big beach with what looks to be forerunner buildings. This could be wrong a pic but im wondering how did he take that pic?
“hacked the halo”…? These maps aren’t anywhere on any current Halo game, so there’s no possible way he could have “hacked” anything to find them. The maps will be included on the upcoming ODST disc.

My friend told me that the new pistol in the game is “one shot one kill.” does anyone know if this is correct?
The scoped pistol is slated to return. The same one from Halo 1. Since it will be scoped, a zoomed headshot could be instant kill, but if you shoot someone in the leg, not a death shot. I do not see it being the next “Golden Gun”
