We’re temporarily shutting down the Loot Ninja forums. There was an over abundance of spam coming through and we don’t have the time right now to spend all day just deleting the spam messages. The forums have been a bit neglected as such.
We have some plans for combating the spam and making some changes to the forums, but they’re a little ways off. For now, rock out some good discussions in the comments of each post.
just require login to view and make the captcha level the most difficult and there will only be human spammers maybe every couple weeks or so. I run a few boards and this has always worked and it is a 5 second fix. if you need an extra level of security, you can add a plugin for a text phrase for folks to enter.
We were getting flooded with human spammers. We had all of those things already in place.
