Review: Card Ninja (iPhone)

Card Ninja iPhone Screen

Ninjas hold a special place in our hearts here, for obvious reasons. When games throw the word Ninja around in the name, it makes us take a look. Card Ninja for the iPhone takes a new take on matching games and the result is a good time.

The premise in Card Ninja is simple: match the corresponding color or card icon to the proper location. You flick the cards to the matching gate to gain a point. The flick mechanics work perfectly and are spot on. If you miss, it’s your own fault. The various matching types keep the game fresh and varied with moving targets as well as changing colors and icons.

There isn’t much wrong with Card Ninja. The game isn’t too long, but for $0.99, you can’t fault things there. It’s great for quick bursts of gaming, which is perfect for the iPhone. I find myself coming back to Card Ninja quite often when I want to get some gaming in, but time isn’t on my side. A solid purchase that you shouldn’t overlook.

    1. You keep making good games, we’ll keep giving them good scores :)

With the plethora of iPhone games that come through, it takes a lot for a game to stay on my iPhone. Card Ninja has secured that spot.
