I’m too afraid of heights to ever jump out of plane or off a bridge. It’s not that I haven’t had the opportunity, I’m just too scared. Hell, I can’t even look over a 3rd floor balcony without getting butterflies in my stomach. Enter video games, which let me live out opportunities the real world can’t for one reason for another. ParaJumping attempts to fill that void in my life, but doesn’t fit the bill.
In the game, you start by picking your player and choosing a difficulty setting (easy, medium, or hard). You then have 6 stages to win, each comprised of 3 jumps. ParaJumping is basically a game of timing your screen taps. You need to tap the screen almost immediately as “Go” is displayed, then tap again to open your parachute. Opening too soon means you drop too slow, and if you open too late or not at all, you just might die. Winning a stage has you moving on until you get to the King of Jumps.

If your timing isn’t perfect, you aren’t going to win in ParaJumping. It’s just a matter of tapping the screen, which isn’t all that fun actually. You can upload and view high scores online, but that’s not enough to make you even want to finish the game’s 6 leagues. Try the Lite version for free which has 3 leagues on Easy. Even though the full game is only $0.99, it won’t keep your attention very long.

All this Iphone review stuff is great, but lets not forget all the great stuff out on the consoles Red Faction, Infamous, PROTOTYPE, and next week Ghostbusters & more….
Don’t worry, all those reviews are coming. We’re a bit swamped still with everything from E3, so those reviews will get mixed in with our E3 coverage.
yeah i am curious about prototype vs. infamous. I get them confused since what little I know about them seems to make me think they are the same haha. lone dudes with superpowers fighting a city of bad things and they are both trying to figure shit out. Is that right? ha
Yes, Red Faction, need the review now.
