I’m an avid golfer, if you weren’t already aware. I get out and play at least 1-2 times a week during the summer and supplement my time year-round with Tiger Woods games. Last year I made the switch from the HD consoles to the Wii. While I enjoyed the game a lot, I found myself playing less since I had to get up out of my chair.
This year, with Wii Motion Plus, it could be even better. But will I play it more than 2009’s version? Since I’m on the fence, I’m asking you all what version you think I should buy. The Wii, Xbox 360, or PS3? To go back in time, I had Tiger Woods 08 on PS3 and 07 on Xbox 360.
Help me out, my fine feathered friends.

I would say Wii for the unique gameplay, but sense you got it last year, I would say Xbox 360.
whichever one is cheapest
That would have to be the Wii without the Motion Plus addon, which is basically the same thing as last year.
then we have a winner!
Get the Wii version of Tiger Wood PGA Tour 10. It looks like on track to be the best version. accoriding to Metacritics reviews. I don’t have the game, but get the Wii version. Who knows? Maybe you’ll be playing me when I get it!
Well, since you specifically say that you don’t like having to get out of your seat to play, that should knock down the Wii version a bit. However, I do think that the wii motion plus adds a lot to the gameplay from the 09 version. One thing that bothered me about the 09 version on the wii was trying to hit low percentage shots. I had a hard time being accurate on anything less that 50% power. That short-coming is eliminated with wii motion plus. The 09 version also made it very easy to get max power on your shots, whereas the Wii motion plus forces you to play with better form and follow-through on your shots to get maximum power. This increases the difficulty some, but likely makes things closer to reality.
I agree with many sites that the addition of wii motion plus adds a level of realism to the game, and it’s worth the extra $10 for the pack-in. However, if you really don’t like getting up to play, then maybe a different version would be better for you personally.
