Killzone 2 got its first map pack DLC back on April 30th. A little over a month later, the Flash and Thunder map pack will be released on the PSN June 11th for $5.99. This new map pack turns back the clock with two of the more popular maps from the original Killzone, Beach Head and Southern Hills.
While both maps were cool in the original and should work well in Killzone 2, it begs the question: does Killzone 2 really need more map packs already? The game shipped with some quality maps and the Steel and Titanium map pack recently provided a bit more depth.
I think that instead of map packs, Guerilla Games should focus on possibly bringing a separate co-op mode to the game, which almost everyone has been begging to play. Will that happen? I doubt it. Will a lot of people buy this map pack? I’m not really sure.

Well, you can’t have to much of a good thing.
eh, new maps are always good for fans of the game. i played the fuck out of this 1 for the first two weeks or so. then it just got boring. no teamwork at all. im sticking with socom(and we socomers need some fucking dlc)
