There are some big changes in the Madden Universe this season. First, Madden himself has retired from broadcasting and has not ruled out being in the game. He has not been an announcer in the game the past few years. Secondly, the Madden + Year formula has been dropped. Madden 2010 will be called Madden NFL 10. Sounds weird but we will have to get used to it. Third and most noticeably, there are 2 players on the cover this year, Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu. If you don’t know who they are or why they are on the cover then walk into oncoming traffic for their is no hope. Maybe this will break the curse but does this look right to you?
Oh well that’s just great, EA has decided to bless 2 players with the “Madden Curse” this year. I guess I won’t be picking up Fitzgerald in my fantasy league!
