My New Obsession: Mafia Wars on iPhone/iPod Touch

Recently released on the iPhone/iPod Touch, Mafia Wars from Zynga is a clone of the very popular Facebook app/game. While I never played it, I used to play My Heroes Ability a lot on the social networking site. Someone tipped me off on the free game release, so I had to check it out. I haven’t really put my iPod Touch down much since last night.

This shit is addicting. You start out by picking between being a Mogul, a Criminal, or a Brawler, then do jobs to get money, weapons, properties, and experience. You can also fight other players and level yourself up to be a big time mafia guy. I picked a Mogul and I’m currently at level 9 with a few properties getting me $1130 every hour, which is nice.

If you want to join the Loot Ninja gang, drop your player ID in the comments. The more people we have, the bigger jobs and better fights we can get into. My player ID is 7602 2153 04, so go ahead and add me and we’ll rock out.
