Do I watch American Idol? No. I think it is a fad that is dying a slow death which can be verified with less ratings and adding a new cast member. Do I think Ryan Seacrest is an absolute douche. Yes. When has a relative nobody in entertainment become the most seen person on TV with really no discernable skill? He is proof of that. Last night a blind guy auditioned and was apparently good enough to go onto whatever the next round is. So what does Seacrest do to said blind man? Offer him a high five. Jesus tapdancing Christ.

Boo on Fox for having this pulled. I watched it live and it was fairly painful. Seacrest goes for a high five, then goes down and slaps his hand around his waste and says “well I’m giving you a high five”. Dumb ass.
Side note, the blind kid is a really good singer. Yes, I watch American Idol.
