Starting today, I will actually be playing SOCOM: Confrontation on the PS3. I was a huge fan of the PS2 games, but all the server issues and bugs and missing features from Confrontation really turned me off. I haven’t touched the game in months. Today, that changes.

We’ve told you all about the new stuff in the patch, like Trophies, a Quick Match option, and Party system. Now, it’s all here. I’m excited, but also a bit saddened that it took this many months after release to get Confrontation to the playable form that should have existed from day 1.

Whatever the case, you can catch me online a good deal this week in SOCOM on PS3. I think Steve and Yaris will be playing too, so look for us online.
