Check out some off-camera gameplay footage of Resistance: Retribution for the PSP. I’ve been questionable about the title since its announcement and this footage doesn’t ease any of my concerns. I can’t say for sure if the person playing is utilizing the PS3 connection with the DualShock3, but I can’t imagine these controls will be easy or forgiving on the PSP. Using the analog nub and d-pad for movement and aiming is awkward at best, and this game looks to utilize too much of that control scheme. We’ll see how it goes with further builds as we get closer to launch, though.
