Next up in our 2008 Game of the Year picks is PC gaming. Some people say the medium is dying, but I beg to differ given the tremedous amount of quality titles that were released this year. So let’s get right down to it.
Coming in third place is EA’s Spore. Even with a bit of controversy, Spore provided a solid take on multiple game genres and let you play god to your creatures in a whole new way. Will Wright continues to prove that he knows how to make a great game.
The runner up is Left 4 Dead, Valve’s version of the zombie apocalpyse. With some of the best co-op gameplay we’ve seen on any platform, Left 4 Dead should be a part of every PC gamer’s library. Just remember, light the Tank and don’t startle the Witch.
Moving out, Loot Ninja’s pick for 2008 Game of the Year for PC gaming is World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. Proving to be the fastest selling PC game of all time, Blizzard has the MMORPG market on lock down. New character classes, new quests, achievements, and all kinds of goodies await you above level 70. Congratulations and keep up the great work, Blizzard!
Stay tuned tomorrow when we bring you our picks for the PSP Game of the Year!

ha, this category is a no-brainer every year blizzard has a release. it is not even fair! /bow to their superior game developing skills.
Not to be a dick or anything, but isn’t Wrath of the Lich King technically an add-on to a game? Isn’t that like giving the 360 game of the year to the latest Halo 3 map pack? I’m just sayin’…
