If you’re a PS3 gamer who picked up Fallout 3, you’ve probably noticed a nasty bug that causes the game to freeze whenever you get a notification message. Bethesda had recommended turning off notifications as a temporary work-around, but now a patch is out to fix the issue.
The 24mb patch not only brings bug fixes, but brings Trophy support to the game as well. If you already started, you won’t be getting things retroactively. So that’s semi-good news. The update is available for English versions of the game in the US and UK only right now, but rest assured everyone else is getting it soon. The Xbox 360 and PC are said to receive similar patches very soon, which the code in the approval stages at the respective companies.
I have Fallout 3 for the PS3 but haven’t touched it yet. I know it’ll suck me in completely once I start, so I’ve been waiting until I get through a lot of the other games from this Holiday season. Come January, me and Fallout are going to be spending a lot of time together.

Come January Fallout 3 will take over you.
Quite the opposite for me; Come whenever I’m done with the FO3 ( who knows when) I won’t be playing any other game, lmao.
