If there is one thing that gamers do not like, it’s getting up. God forbid you have to change the disk during game play. Star Ocean: The Last Hope will be on three DVDs, mainly because the sheer amount of data included far exceeds what can be put on a single disc. Now we all know that DVDs are not as good as Blu-ray, but we have to drop the surprise act when games are too big. Gamers want huge games, just not all that comes with it, i.e. storage issues.

Honestly I have no problems with changing disks. Sure lost odyssey was on 4 disks but each disk was easily over 6 hours and thats longer than some games
I don’t mind changing discs actually but it can be a drag sometimes, I guess. But hey would you rather have them all compressed into one-two disc with horrible quality?
But couldn’t the lazy ones just install the game onto the HDD and keep the first disc in it?
The multi disc debate. It rage son through the years, the only one to ever get away with it successfully has been the PS1 FF games. After that everyone screams foul. HDD loading can help but I dont think it can fit whole discs, something tells me this will spur on conversations of new consoles as well.
That’s right, AL.. via. HDD you can’t fit whole discs. ..image sucks as well.
