Some savvy gamers have found a way to play the Japan only Resident Evil 5 demo. You need to click here, follow the instructions. It is pretty easy. You are making a boot CD of the demo that tells the Xbox 360 it is in Japan. This may or may not violate TOS. So, maybe unplug your adapter just in case to avoid the banhammer.

Been playing since friday. BlimBlim (from Gamersyde.com) actually put the mediafire link in one of the pages of the NeoGaf RE5 demo thread Friday morning. I think he uploaded those files.
Anyway, yea there are no issues playing online. Only action M$ has taken is the blocking of ISP’s that are not in Japan from getting the demo off their marketplace. This prolly due to the many folks who where signing up for Japan Live accounts and using free Gold trails to get the demo early. This worked, for a few hours.
I burnt the demo to a CDRW and had an issue with it not showing up. (used imgburn, this what others used) I did a full erase on the same CDRW and reburnt with nero and worked fine. However, for faster loading and better reading in general it would be better to use a DVDR. I didnt have one to spare.
The most fun I’ve had with the game is with a friend. The solo A.I. is a bit of a pain sometimes. Pro tip: Control type A is the RE4 controls slightly modified. Type D is the more Gears-like western style. Still no run and gun however. What you wanna do is when ingame go to options and set aiming speed to fastest. This help a bit more. Trust me.
I’m having a hard time telling if the cut scenes are CGI or in engine. They are THAT damn good. But with a file size of 472MB there’s no way in hell they could fit HD cutscenes so its in game. Holy fucking SHit it looks amazing. Bring on march!
I also gave this a shot just recently. The game does look fantastic but I guess I am just not a big fan of the stationary shooting. I need to move when I shoot. It controls kind of heavy for a dude that isn’t wearing any armor like in Gears. Either way, it is intriguing and the co-op is fun.
