Sony continues the long line of SingStar expansions with Legends, a look into some of the biggest musical hits you’d want to sing in your living room. Whether you want to drop down low as Barry White or kick it old school with Biz Markie, there’s some gems here for you.
There really isn’t much more I can say about SingStar games that I haven’t said before. You get the original videos in the background and the original tracks to sing along with until your heart’s content. Vocal mechanics work as expected and you can play local multiplayer with up to 8 friends. What you’re getting here is 30 new tracks for your karaoke enjoyment, with nothing new in terms of features, gameplay, or presentation, so you know going in what you’ll get out of SingStar Legends.

Whereas the Country version that just shipped is more of a niche product, there’s little doubt that Legends has plenty you’ll enjoy. Imagine by John Lennon, Sympathy for the Devil by The Rolling Stones, Daydream Believer by The Monkees, and Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash are some the killer tracks here for you.
With a very solid track list, this one should become part of your SingStar library. I’ve had a blast with this one and it makes it’s way back into my PS2 just as much as my previous favorite, Amped. If you’re a SingStar fan, pick this one up.
Overall: 8 out of 10

My wife will love this, she has a thing for Singstar.
This is cool. My husband and I love karaoke, in fact, that’s how we make our living. Karaoke is 5 nights a week with us.
