I have never seen a trailer as evoking as Mad World for Gears of War. This is not far behind. It totally gives you the feel of the struggle these guys are going through. It also gives you the feeling things are not going to turn out so well at the end.

Pretty good. Definitely not near the Mad World trailer. I think the newest Resistance 2 trailer was actually better.
Hopefully there’s an HD version on the XBLM soon
resistance 2 trailer is bad,that generic fps is trash.
This blows the Resistance2 trailer out of the water, it wasn’t filled with bad spiritual actors and it seemed to fit the theme unlike the REs2 trailer.
Pretty generic until they actually get down in the ground. Not awe inspiring like Resistance2.

Nice…. I love how they put such serene music with such a violent and chaotic game.. Can’t wait for this one.
This ad… all it made me do was go “eh?” The music sounds so out of place with the footage. I prefered the “Mad World” ad more. There’s a disconnect between the faux-emo song and the footage of this particular ad. No, it’s not serene. It reminds me of Coldplay or Keane or Starsailor, and their songs sound similar.
The Resistance 2 trailer was slightly better. It didn’t begin well, but once the gameplay footage was shown, the intent of the ad became clear. But the live-action actors definitely dragged things down.
Oh well. To each his own, I guess.
The new ad for Gears of War 2 is way better than the generic Resistance 2’s ad. And c’mon, PS3 fanboys, everybody knows that Gears 2 is the game that millions and millions of gamers are waiting for. Resistance 2 is not even in the same league of Gears 2, because Resistance 2 is way below.
Fanboys calling other people fanboys is a joke that’ll never get old. Stop this name-calling nonsense, and PLAY THE BLOODY GAME. I expressed my opinion, and the last time I checked, it wasn’t a crime. In my mind, Resistance 2 is as good as Gears of War 2, and you have no right to undermine or patronize my opinion.
Damn fanboys give the rest of us gamers a bad name, and we have to live with it. Tch.

that commercial nearly made me empty out my bank account in a frantic attempt to buy what ever gears of war 2 merchandise i can find, its one of the commercials/trailors that u stop fast forwarding through commericals just to go bak and watch it.
its pretty damn epic.
I think it was as riveting as the mad world comm. if not better,but I must say you don’t see game comm.’s that make you fell the way you do when you see these ones.
