World of Warcraft players are creaming in their soiled drawers today as the latest v3.0.2 patch is now live. Dubbed Echoes of Doom, the 1.2 GB patch brings a new profession of Inscription, an in-game guild calendar, a barber shop, the long awaited achievement system, expanded talent trees, and a new location, Stormwind Harbor.
I’ve been downloading the patch for a little while and, as you can see, things aren’t going at breakneck speeds here. Guess I need to find something else to do with my time today…

I have a level 65 hunter that is getting geared up for WoTLK, should be at 70 by launch in November.
If you don’t make it to level 70 before WoTLK releases, you’re disowned
I forgot how time consuming this game is, playing that and trying to review other games is getting pretty tough. The other day I did the podcast while playing and I also played Brothers in Arms while playing WoW, multi-tasking at its finest.

yeah as of 10 PM eastern my realm was still down, Arthas was not online or findable
Yeah I tried to connect to Arthas around 11pm last night and it sat at a screen looking for my characters. Gonna fire it up in a bit to see if everything is back
