This game is crap got it 2day took it back after 4 – 5 hours the career is shite just like the past games wwe is lacking tna is ganna jump infront and make better games there 1st wasn’t 2 bad but least it had better storys MVP having his own country??? also there is no manager mode this year YAWN!!!

This game is off da chain, the characters have more detail than before (except Umaga, they messed his shoulders up lol). The roster is very good….The Road to Wrestlemania dont follow real life story lines, and its interesting. Randy Orton is a beast! Yah no gm mode sucks, but not that much i dont kno many people who relied on it, and Career mode is plain, but its “extra” its not like its all there is to do. Wrestling games roles are generally so u can “wrestle” its plenty matches to do and tag team matches are upgraded times 1000! If they can get the servers to work better than online would b fun as hell but its alright. Downloadable characters is a big feature im lookin forward too, and i love the Roster editor (you can change any characters clean/dirty and brand, and title holders on the fly for people who like to keep their game like the real deal) Create A Finisher is off to a good start, ive made like 30 great finish moves that look “REAL”. I bought TNA and took that crap back all characters do the same moves and its a limited amount of matches…Booker T doesn’t have a single signature move….I say good job THQ even tho u can step it up a bit, it was a good try..

dude dis game iz awesome. im tired of hearn yallz moanin. some of da storylinez r pretty good and otherz could have had a lil more work done but overall diz iz a fun game. gm mode alwayz sukd. im happy dat they got rid of dat. lm lovin da highlight reel and create a finisher. and theres more of a selection for CAS. and edwin da moves r unlockd n da rey and batista storyline.

all i gotta say is that, TNA game was whack, we all know. they boasted it like it was gonna be the best and i bought into it to… I know it was their first game but still…
SvR09 dropped the ball on the career mode, especially since you have to sit in it to build your CAW. It’s just like how when we play exhibition mode and create our own storylines in our heads, but when the game does it, it’s like… it sucks. I mean the game is way more capable. why don’t it uses it.
Last but not least… I love the Create-A-Finisher mode, and I like creating movies with the Highlight Reel.
If you’re a fan of TNA, WWE jocked a lotta TNA trademarks. So create TNA wrestlers from the CAW forums and create finishers and have fun…
The Only Plus outta many flaws!!!
This game was one of the best wwe games produced in recent years.The graphics have improved greatly and not to mention a lot of the gameplay problems that pissed people of in most of the other wwe games have been fixed. The tag team gameplay has also been improved and it is a lot more dynamic and fun. The create-a-finisher mode was a good start but it is obvious that in the next games there should be an improvement. However I was a little eritated by the career mode. Having to build my CAW with out a storyline was very bland for me. People seem not to understand that this was a huge improvement for wwe games. They fixed a lot of problems from previous wwe games and added a lot of new features that fans have been asking for. In my opinion Smackdown vs Raw 2009 was an experiment that did the game a lot of good. We should expect for the next wwe game to be even better than the next one.

I’m not even sure where to begin. I’ve played and owned every smackdown game since the first one on playstation up untill svr2007. There have been improvements and set backs along the way. I didn’t purchase svr2008 because i eventually became bored with the game. I decided to buy svr2009 because it loked like it had some descent improvements. Now don’t get me wrong there are some good things about this game but there are many aspects that I have become saddened by. First I have to explain that I play the game specifically to create my own superstar. Now you can agree or disagree with some of my points I could care less, I just needed to get this off my chest.
1. There is a legends catergory but no legends
2. They abandond the idea that smaller wrestlers shouldn’t be able to lift larger ones.
3. Love the create a finisher
4. Love that I can upload my own entrance music
5.I have mixed feelings about the lack of the GM mode. I liked it but don’t neccesarily miss it.
6. I don’t like that you have to play road to wrestlemania in order to unlock the 3 move sets.
7. I don’t like that the road to wrestlemania is six random paths
“career mode”
I believe this is what put me over the edge
1. I still don’t like that only one superstar can be entered at a time
2. I honestly believe the best career mode was in the first smackdown. You could enter who ever you wanted and at least for me the matches were mixed up and it never really ended
3. my created superstar is a heavyweight, why am I wrestling for the cruiserweight belt. You can’t challenge for it in exibition so why are you able to do it in career mode.
4. I don’t like that the career paths are stale. You choose a path and then theres 5 or so persons/teams that you wrestle in that division
5. the belts are only defended on ppv
6. the create a wrestlers attributes a directly tied into the career mode. if i decided to start over or choose someone else for a period, i’ll loose all that i have accomplished
7. you can’t load a superstart from another file. (or at least i don’t know how)
8. this is what really had made me upset. it seems that the longer i played the career mode the harder the computer became. you would think as your superstar has gotten better, it should be easier for them to contend. I have completed all title paths and it seems now that everyone can counter every move i do. yet when i play exibition the superstars are terribly easy. EX. i competed against hbk and during the match he was hurting pretty badly with almost all red damge while i had a yellow arm. I hit him with his own signature move and he got up before i did. i beat him down for a lil while longer or at least we went back and forth and i used my finishing move. i went to cover him and he possumed me. i kicked out but my next five attempts he possumed. mind you he still has a completed red body while i only have orange arms and yellow head at this time. he picks up a ladder so i picked up a chair and charged him with it. being the superstar that he is, he was able to drop the ladder and still the chair from me all in one move. it has gotten to the point that while im in carrer mode i spend most of my time smashing the “x” button, R2, and L2 it hopes to counter there counters and maybe mount some offense.
9. with such a large roster why do you only wrestle aginst a total of aprox 15 superstars in career mode as some of them compete in more than one path
10. what happen to the stroylines in career mode anyway. its actually rather boring to have to choose every match.
i should proabbly stop now, i just really needed to get those comments out there. As a long term fan of the game i think im officially disappointed in this game. they need a suggestion box that can be taken seriously.
This game has to be the most shitest game ever! Right next to TNA both TNA and WWE’s games suck dick This year Legends of WrestleMania is Laughable and Probably just top off SvR 2009.I really don’t recommend any of them games face it Wrestleing games are only going to get worst

i think SmackDown vs Raw is good but the season mode is crap bring back the 2008 SmackDown vs Raw back for the 2010 one
