Incognito has continued to give amazing support to Warhawk on the PS3, adding to the gameplay experiences in many ways. Free patches with gameplay tweaks and additions, Trophy support, and now a third expansion pack, Operation: Fallen Star. For the cool price of $7.99, you get a new map, Tau Crater, as well as the new Icarus Mk.1 Rocket pack.
Tau Crater has ten layouts to support multiple game types, all of which are extremely well balanced with nice weapon and vehicle placement, just like the previous expansion maps. I said before that the APC is the best new addition, but I was wrong. It has been one-upped by the Jet Pack. You can now grab one from the Daedalus Rapid Assembly Device (D-RAD), which is essentially a giant Jet Pack vending machine. New packs are generated every so often, so it’s not like everyone on the map will get one at the same time. You press the R2 button to engage the thrusters to go higher and just let go to drop back down. If you need to hover, just hold L2. It ends up working out really well and gives you a whole new perspective on battles. No longer do you need to just run around or be in a vehicle. With the Jet Pack, you can run around shooting and then hold R2 to go up in the air to take someone out.

Just like with the previous two expansions, Incognito has added layouts for each of the current maps to support the Jet Pack. There are 30 new layouts in all, which is a huge addition for anyone that buys Fallen Star
Tau Crater has slowly creeped into my top 3 favorite Warhawk maps. Each of the layouts works very well and the map feels great. I think the previous Operation: Broken Mirror introduced the best new map and features, but this is right up there behind it. This is well worth every penny, whether you buy the pack alone or in the $15.99 combo pack for all three.
Verdict: Buy It
