In my opinion the world does not need a Guitar hero movie, shoot I am of the opinion that the world does not need another Guitar Hero game, but thats a side discussion. Looks like just recently our good friend Brett Ratner was asked about making a movie about GH and he said the following:
I would love to do a Guitar Hero movie, if Activision would ever let me. I’m trying to convince them, but why would you have a movie screw up such a huge franchise? Not that I would make a bad movie. So that would be cool, to do a Guitar Hero movie.
I love Brett’s sincerity in admitting that he can’t make a bad movie, classy move. I also have no mother loving clue what the plot of this epic flop could possibly be, although the South Park episode does come to mind.

Bad idea
Horrible idea. No one would go to see this movie at all. South park did a good enough job. Sitting through an hour and a half would be torture.
What would be the premise of such an awful movie?! A kid quits school to be the master of a video game. A master who gets paid in free chicken nuggets and burgers…
