First it was supposed to drop in July. Then Life with PlayStation got pushed back to August. Now, we’re still waiting. According to Noam Rimon, a Senior Development Manager for the service, there’s some paperword holding back the release.
Although we’re still waiting, we did get to find out that Life with PlayStation will incorporate Folding@Home in the background. Whenever you’re reading the news or checking the weather, you’ll be helping to cure cancer by running Folding without even knowing it. Good stuff.
Hopefully we see the new service in September.

This is Fragloser by the way…
Anyways, apparently it costs around $200 to run folding@home each year on your PS3 because even though its working in the background it still sucks up a lot of power. Ill send over the info when I get it. I’m all for folding@home but if it costs that much (on your power bill) to run each year then that might turn some people off.
Soon it will be pushed back to half past never.
And @stone, wtf?! I have been running folding@home since it started up on the PS3. If it’s costing me that much, I will stop ASAP.

I think the PS3 itself sucks a lot of power out of all 3 consoles lol.
As for Life being delayed it’s a eh for me.
