Microsofft: Too Human on Par with the Greatest Trilogies Ever Made

Too Human

When you think great trilogies, you think Star Wars or LOTR. Let’s just clear one thing up there is only one Return, and it ain’t of the fucking King. Anyway, Too Human, almost a decade in development, has been released with more varied scrutiny of Assassins’ Creed. MS will promote their ideas to the very death. Here is what they think of Too Human:

This game will begin the saga of the god Baldur in the narrative tradition of classic trilogies, such as Star Wars and Lord Of The Rings. We will talk about the full trilogy and we are very excited about its potential.

I can guarantee you that no one will have a Too Human themed wedding this fall. No way.

If your game is getting 5’s and lower and major outlets, you shouldn’t even mention Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. Hell, you should seriously consider why you’re even making a trilogy…

Whoever the PR genius is that spun that statement needs to be fired. I don’t care how good or bad the game is you are only setting your self up for needless critisism with a statement like that and this game is getting beaten up enough

I would like to quote an excerpt that I gathered from Wikipedia

“Too Human was originally in development for the PlayStation as a 4-disc action-adventure game. It was shown at E3 1999, but shortly before its completion Nintendo announced an exclusive partnership with Silicon Knights, and the game was moved to the Nintendo GameCube in 2000.The game never surfaced though, and the partnership between the two companies was ended.
    ….
Silicon Knights announced a partnership with publisher Microsoft to develop a trilogy revolving around the Too Human universe exclusively for the Xbox 360.”

Looks like Silicon Knights (the developers) were basically rejected by Sony & Nintendo, let’s see how MS will handle them.
