We have all heard about Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts a lot since E3 this year and everyone made a very big deal about it, but after watching this clip I have to say that I am unimpressed. The level design looks like it was made by a three year old and the graphics look horrific both in the levels and the HUD. This does not look like a platform style game at all and instead looks like a first generation racing game. It also does not help that whoever is giving the demo really sucks at the game as well, the game just did not look fun form what they showed off.
People are taking issue with my opinion on this and i am unsure why, watch the video it is clear. Ok I have not gotten hands on with the game yet but do you really need to? If you drive a piece of shiet that handles well does that make it less of a piece of shiet? This game looks terrible and yes BK is overhyped because since E3 it has been touted everywhere and after seeing it more in depth I give it a resounding meh.

here here! I too was quite underwhelmed.
Rare flops again (though, I did enjoy kameo and PDZ, though it couldn’t hold a candle to PD. Wasn’t a fan of viva pinata, but it got good reviews). Rare is really just a shadow of it’s former self….same with Silicon KNights, free radical, and factor 5…they really need to go back to nintendo.
I agree with you, but let’s just see what Rare can do with this game. The graphics do look a bit underwhelming and I didn’t think this would come from a next-gen Banjoo game.
Let’s just hope that Bnajoo fanboys don’t flay you alive for this, lol.
Is this the only video of this game that you’ve seen? This is the only one I’ve seen where it looks like a racing game and not a platformer. The other several videos clearly showed that it’s a platformer.
If you’re wondering why people are taking issue with your opinion, it might be due to the fact that youre judging this game by one clip, and not only that, but an off-screen clip.

I agree. The gameplay is remarkably slow and uneventful. After watching that video I’m left wondering what the point is.
Sometimes at game conference they have a representative that doesn’t know shit play the game and remarkably fail; I laughed at the part where he tried driving through the green check point and just fall.
This game looks like Katamari, Bionicle, and Mario Kart had a really ugly baby together.
