Over 700 Genesis games most of them were trash and gimmicks [must be my inner SNES fan boy speaking]. I love the narrator they must have had a great day.
Have you ever played the games on my list? You’d change your mind.
I prefered the Genesis to the SNES back then, and I still do. Games like New Horizons, Contra: Hard Corps, Vectorman, Phantasy Star showed the amount of potential in the Genesis. This is a good list, although I don’t agree with all of their choices. No Subterrania?

Most of these are in the video except for the Japanese only games! These games fought a good hard fight & they all kicked Nintendo’s ass! Genesis will always be Nintendo’s Nemesis! Genesis Does!

So, thats actually closer to 30..but the genesis owned it. Still owns it! Looks kick ass on my component video converter on my HDTV…like it was meant too. Forget AV and RF.
I do notice, # 15, 11, 4 and 19-24 are rarely mentioned in any Genesis Top Game list…probably because no one has taken the time to actually explore the system…they just see other peoples lists on the ‘net and use those I guess.
This system has more creative, fun, imaginative and challenging games than any system before or after. It’s not necessarily the quantity..it’s the quality.
