It is definitely better than that one. It is on par with 2k7 and 2k8 Maddens. Graphics are getting nicer but the gameplay isnt drastically different. I like that you can call audibles a bit easier now.

I’m considering getting the new madden, but I haven’t bought one since that abomination Madden 2006 that launched with he 360.

Graphically definitely better. A lot of the same features but I do like the back track feature where they disect certain plays and show you where you messed up. I think the Madden test was a good idea but it fails, it doesnt really test your skills but is more of a rhythm game.

People play this Madden until the next one comes out. And everyone knows the next one is already 11 months away. Sports titles in general are throw-aways to me because of this.
If they skipped a year here and there, and actually made big improvements, (instead of graphic tweak here, hit stick tweak there) I would actually consider buying them again.

How big of a different is the Wii version compared to the 360/PS3 version? I notice its title is different.
