Watch this video for the Novint Falcon controller in action, it’s a force feedback system that simulates recoil of weapons and gives a more realistic feel while playing PC games. Right now the system comes with 24 mini games similar in style to the Wii Sports titles on the Wii. Drivers are expected to be made in the future to support other titles and hopefully will be offered as free add ons. Currently there is a Half Life mod that allows you to play the game using the controller, the controller although unique looks too bulky for everyday use and I would need to know what the price tag is before dishing up cash to play only 25 titles..

Write a Comment»$239… Jeez, pass. But I’d gladly take it for free. I’m only interested how it adds a better experience to FPS games and the duck flinging game doesn’t really wow me. Now if we can get one moded for CS and COD4. The button/handle could be a little bigger though.
I saw this thing at compusa after tigerdirect/systemax bought them out. I was definitely curious as to what this crazy thing was so I read the box and showed my friend. We both agreed that it was retarded and would not sell. the type of gift your rich grandma gets you because she doesn’t know anything about you except that you play games. and you have to pretend to be stoked then figure out the best way to destroy it on youtube to get the best use of the damn thing.
