Check out as this guy plays Quake against himself on a PC and an iPhone, pretty impressive. The Quake controls on the iPhone are pretty straight forward, but I am not sure how well it handles the frame rate during a big fire fight. Definitely interesting and really says a lot about what kinds of games we can expect for our iPhones, perhaps some Duke Nukem in our future?

Write a Comment»It sure does say something about the capabilities of the iPhone compared to watered down mobile games, but I’m not sure if I wanna use the iPhone for a FPS game. It looks pretty nice though. I remember seeing a video awhile back where a guy was playing either Quake or was it URT, with 2 iPhones.
I dunno, I’ve seen the iphone in action at the AT&T store, and some of the games are a tad choppy. but it could just be that they leave the phones on 24-7
