Activision to Shit Can Ghostbusters and 50 Cent Games?

Ghostbusters Game Slimer Screen

There is no official word yet, but Activision left off quite a few games on their release list after E3. The following notable games were not present: Ghostbusters, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Brutal Legend, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, World at Conflict: Soviet Assault, Zombie Wranglers, Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust, as well as several Xbox Live Arcade titles.

We are reviewing our options regarding those titles that we will not be publishing.” Additionally the company plans to “realign” staff at High Moon Studios and Radical Entertainment, while Massive Entertainment and Swordfish Studios are both under consideration for sale or closure.

People are reporting that these games were not mentioned because they have been axed. Not so. I am just reporting that something may be afoot. Will some of these games never see the light of day? Most likely. I doubt a 50 Cent game is going to make a ton of money and cost the studio much in reputation, but I was really looking forward to Ghostbusters. Bustin’ makes me feel good.

Yeah, I wasn’t doubting Ghost Busters one bit, it was gaining some momentum as for the rest, I could care less.

That’s no fun I wanted to see the sales and game reviewers bash it, maybe even credit it for being good, not!

I’d rather they keep the shitty games off the market before they ever get there. Thin the herd.
