Oh, Konami. The problems just keep piling up. Yet another one that could have been easily solved by using the PSN and PlayStation Store. The Gene Expansion pack cannot be sold in 30 countries (the PS3 is sold in these countries and they can purchase from the PlayStation Store).
According to Konami’s website, the following countries cannot puchase anything from their online store:
Andorra, Bahrain, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Gibraltar, Hungary, Iceland, India, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta & Gozo, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Vatican
That’s a lot of places, some pretty large, that Konami is ostrocizing. The entire country of Russia? Come on now. I really hope Sony takes the initiative to force developers to use the PSN for online portions of titles. We need to avoid this type of thing in the future. The fact that all this is happening with a Game of the Year candidate makes it that much worse.

I can understand why all those countries don’t have MGO, but Iceland?!?! Madness. I thought I saw a MGS4 leaked copy from Iceland a while back.

I’m from one of these country, true we can’t buy anything from MGO shop, I delete my old konami Id, yesteday I make new one but, I put my countr USA, I’m gonna try to buy it, I ask my friend from USA to buy it for me but he can’t they give him arror I think num. 809 ,, we well see, but It’s not fair, I contact konami about this but the answer is , we well see!!!!!
I Think That This lIst Is A black List Of Countries That Copy CDs And Stuff And Then They Sell Them … But when they make copies the main company… konami wont get any money so i think thats why they dont sell em… but somehow… there is a way… to keep on searching for other companies that dont go on the black list.. so keep on searching ppl..were ther is a will theres a way… me myself is looking for a company that doesnt goes on the black list… thats wat i bileive..
