Rumor: New Sonic Game

Looks like in the newest issue of Nintendo Power a new Sonic game is going to be revealed, at least that is what the cover story supposedly says. Looks like Sonic is coming to the Wii in Sonic & The Black Knight, a first look to be revealed in this months Nintendo Power.

I possibly call shenanigans on this one. Why would you give Sonic a sword? Sonic never had weapons, its like giving Mario a shotgun! Although the Wii motion sensing would make sense for sword swinging purposes I think choosing Sonic is a bad move. What do you think? Real or fake?

Sonic uses weapons in the cartoons on occasion. I just hope Sega doesn’t screw this up. Please, please, please give me something worth playing on my Wii.

It is true, damn. Why though. They should be more focused on bringing back the Sonic we all know and love and make sure he doesn’t die. It was worse when they gave him a voice, now a sword? OK!

The voice in the later Sonic cartoons and games wasn’t bad. But that original “Let’s Speed Keed” voice was downright awful.
