@Ian - surprisingly I will be touching m 360 a lot more in the winter (yea that sounds weird). There is a plethora of good games coming to the 360 in Q4 which should occupy me quite well. I made a list of all the games I want to pick up but I lost it. Safe to say i'll be broke.

Also, a good reason to buy a PS3 is definitely the Blue Ray player. A few of my moms friends have PS3's instead of blue ray players even though they don't even play video games, they just wanted a cheaper way to watch them. I laugh when I go to my friends house and see that they have a blue ray player sitting in their deck instead of a PS3.

@ian, I was thinking the same thing about the PC games. I'm building a new PC next week and will pretty much not be touching the consoles for a while.

the blu ray player is still the #1 selling point of this console. The gaming is still secondary imo. I bought it strictly for the blu ray player and I am very happy with it for that. I have like 15 games for it that I don't play at all. Not like it matters anyway. When Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 are out, I won't be touching a console for like a year.

Yeah Sony is finally picking up the pace. But being #2 isn't exactly reason to start popping corks on the champagne.
