Many of us never thought that FFXII would make its way to the Xbox 360. Have that being said, people need to stop acting like the world is coming to an end. MGS4 stands very little chance of being ported to MS. Sony has been adamant that the game is and will stay exclusive. The game designer, Hideo Kojima has insisted it will never happen. If he does, his credibility will suffer. Furthermore, what about all the people who bought the PS3 just to play this game? They are going to be insanely pissed.
Games like Mass Effect and Bioshock were awesome games, but were never viewed as console movers let alone a flagship title of the Xbox 360. They are also made by studios that have a rapport with both companies. Since when did Kojima do much of anything for MS? Halo is owned by MS, so that debate will never start, thank God.
It’s okay to have exclusives. That’s why I spent the money on both systems. Sony gets Metal Gear; its sort of their thing. Why would the franchise, which has gone out on the highest of all highs, sully their name by “going to the dark side”? They won’t. Despite the many “inside tips” and “trusted industry sources”, this is one of those fanboy fantasies that just won’t come true.

Totally agree with u. I mean FF13 was an iffy since sony didnt really make a big deal about it. But they did make a big deal of MGS4 and also I agree if there is any dev loyal to his fans, Kojima is one of them. I mean if by possibility it does come to the 360, this may not happen till years to come just from all the sony products and alot of things they would have to revamp in the game. I think Kojima will eventually make a game multiplatform which u never know MGS5 could be a possibility since he will be able to start fresh and bring in new fans to the series or maybe even a new IP. I just cant see him ever making a game with out it being on the PS Brand since he knows he has alot of loyal fans and the thing that makes us love Kojima is that he appreciates his fans and even though he can just do what many other companys have already done to there fans like capcom and square and jump ship and favor another console just for money, we all know Kojima knows if it wasnt for his hardcore fans, this series wouldnt be as successful as it is since it is a love or hate it series, but to us hardcore fans of the mgs series, this is the best series in the gaming business and Kojima deserves all the praise he gets.

This is a good thing for PoS3 fanboys to read, but they were making a big deal about it before it announced to go to 360, so in that retrospect, Sony was not expecting that announcement, but it happened, so that same can happen too. Will I be surprised if it doesn’t get ported… no, will I be suprised if it does not… no. And it is possible for MSG4 to be done on 360, the graphic and everything aren’t the greatest to grace either system, it’ll just be on 4 disc, just like Final Fantasy XIII will be
i completely agree with you, sony will never let anyone else get their hands on MGS4, specially MS, if you’ve played MGS4 you can see how many sony and apple products are scattered throughout the whole game.

in the game itself hideo kojima takes a shot a M$ so it wouldnt make much sense for him to run out and redo a portion of the game. in the day of the next-gen, multiple discs seem to be unacceptable.
if multiple discs is hard to chang thare is something wrong wit u it call lazzy….did’t say before mgs4 was going to be both sides…..
@Sefiroh – Multi disc games are alright I really do not think they are that bad in a single player game though. Once you play for about 8 hours, you have the change the disc which really is like changing the disc once a day if you play the game straight through.
It would be awesome to see MGS4 on the 360 though

listen guys first of all konami owns the rights for MGS series true n true,so if they want to port the game or not is up to them,second for xbox fans,remember MGS substance the directors cut version of MGS2 it came 4 xbox with the original storie of the ps2 port.SO my point here is that if MGS2 got ported to xbox why can we at least have the 4 on our side too,i mean i know the ps3 is the graphic powerhouse ill give u that but there are other ways to port it, it doesnt only have to b less graphics.In all kojima does not deside wether the game is ported or not,but 1 thing is fore certain konami there are alot of hardcore fans 4 that series on xbox360 wating 4 the port wether u do it for money or for our demand i dont care just please let us see the ending of this series on the comfort of our console!!!!
The thing is Konami will not port MGS to the 360 and I stand by my statement. You won’t get the full kick ass experience if the rest of the MGS series doesn’t get ported to the 360. There are a lot of good games coming to the 360, that being said Konami doesn’t need to waste their time porting it.
