We have our ideas, what are yours? Take a vote and maybe you know more than we do about what the upcoming project is. You probably know more than us anyway.
I choose The Sims: The Flood edition. oh wait…
I picked It has nothing to do with the Halo-verse at all. Cause while Halo is/was a pretty good (just shy of greatness IMO) series, let Microsoft handle the Halo franchise (they still own Halo, not Bungie) and make those games as they see fit with the upcoming Halo Wars and Peter Jackson Halo project and beyond. I want to see what bungie can do as a studio now that the bank and house that Halo built is full. They have earned the right to go create something new now that they have 10x more resources before the Halo: Combat Evolved game came out.
I think people forget just how much the shooter and FPS genre was changed because of them. (particularly for consoles) They need to come with the next step of innovation for action and shooter in general. Hopefully, they are as hungry as they were pre-Microsoft buyout.
One thing we know for certain Bungie is not doing is talking to Microsoft!
It’s becoming increasingly apparent that the corporate cultures of these two companies mix about as well as oil and water.
Personally, I think it was foolish of Bungie not to check in with the publisher they are legally required to use for this game to coordinate marketing efforts - a bit arrogant on their part.
Anyway, my money is on a squad based shooter in the Halo universe for Holiday 2009.
they are making a game for sony !!!! if they hate microsoft that much and aren’t controlled by them anymore. this would be the perfect way to prove it. i’m just talking shi@, i don’t follow them or M$, but you never know………
We're like Spaceballs... we're making Loot Ninja everything. Coming soon we'll have hats, shirts, hoodies, possibly banana hammocks if one Editor has his way...
Check out the shirt prototypes here and the hats here

I think it will be some kind of flight based game using the vehicles from Halo, somthing totally off the wall and different
Maybe they’ll make a Myth game for 360? That was a good game back in the day.
Or maybe another Oni.
