DS TV Tuner

So you decided that playing games on your Nintendo DS just isn’t good enough anymore, well grab a TV tuner and watch the tube instead. Looks like Japan is getting an interesting device that will allow you to watch TV channels on your DS, I like the rabbit ear extension. From the looks of it this is going to have access to what it can pick up from the antennas, which means the signal will be weak at best, they should have went with an internet style TV channel similar to what AT&T now has, but lets see if this even comes stateside.

Game Gear had something similiar the Game Gear TV Tuner and it was released around ‘94 or something? There is no market for this imo.

LOL, I had the game gear tuner. That stupid thing was a waste. It was only useful when the Game Gear was plugged in, because it drained the batteries so quick. Unplugged, it lasted ~1.5 hours. But the thing is, whenever I was near an outlet, I was also near a television, completely defeating the purpose.

Would this even work what with the all digital signals being transmitted starting next year?

If it’s a digital antenna, then yes, it should work. If it’s analog, then probably not.
