Mercenaries was one of the best titles on the Xbox. I still play it to this day. A true sandbox adventure where you could destroy anything and were rewarded for it. The game also let you complete the mission anyway you wanted. Don’t feel like walking, chopper in or ram a tank up someone’s ass. Here is a nice look at Mercs 2.

Being able to destroy just about everything is a definite plus.
yeah except you cant destroy the stupid gate at the beginning. When i try and explode it with grenade gun and Ak-47 it doesnt work!! no matter how many times or how much you shoot at it the dang gate wont explode!!!
