@Matt I think the CAW in No Mercy gave more options for move combinations. Also, the entrance music was better. I had a 7' tall buff dude named Viper, dressed in green and black spandex who gyrated to "Sexy Boy".

I threw out my N64 because it was the Pikachu version, it looked ugly, and it was like 2 years ago xD. With that being said the N64 was a great home console and I remember spending countless days playing No Mercy or Conker Bad Fur Day :s

Best of luck on getting a new 360 with your replacement plan Matt :)

@nostars - I was always more of a WCW-NWO Revenge fan. That was the epitome of wrestling games, in my opinion. It's all been downhill ever since.

Dave - I just bought a new house and we re-did a lot of the electrical work here, so everything was tested and clean (I'm anal about that stuff). My Xbox 360 is used in both the living room and my office. In my living room, I also have a Monster Power Center that regulates the power going to all of my components. Both my entertainment center and my office are on their own individual brand new 20amp circuits.

Poor power was one of the first things I thought might be the problem, but since I haven't had a single problem with anything else (TV, receiver, power center, PS3, Wii, cable box), I'm pretty much pegging the problem on the Xbox 360. And since I'm replacing them at Best Buy and not having refurbs sent from MS, I'm also getting new power bricks as well, so that can be ruled out.

I've gone through extensive testing of everything that might be causing problems from electrical, heat, and air flow and everything is good. I'm out of ideas and can only conclude it's faulty hardware, especially given the fact that nothing else is failing.

Matt,

Have you ever had your power tested? Especially, the outlet that the console is connected to. You should think about testing it to see if you are getting the right voltage and current. If not, you stuff may be work but the "dirty" power can shorten the lifespan. It just seems weird that you have replaced eight -- that is some substantially bad luck.

Also see if you kind find out what is on the same circuit (you can test this with breaker switches). Another possible thing you can do is plug your 360 through a power conditioner, which will try to correct any power problems. And generally they give a warning if they are not able to correct the power.

Haha. Nope, I get them replaced at Best Buy. I'd rather not deal with waiting that long, especially since I paid for the replacement plan. Maybe I should call MS... wonder if they do anything for you when you have this many broken ones...

1. Don't own any guns.

2. I don't think Best Buy would accept a bullet-ridden Xbox 360 as a return....
