Take a first look at C.O.R.E. a futuristic and fast paced action FPS for the Nintendo DS. It is the 20th of the XXI century and an unidentified object has crashed on the Earth, so the government builds a complex around the crash site and shenanigans ensue. This has a strong Doom meets AREA 51 feel to it, decent FPS for the DS but I think it needs a bit more, curious if this will have any stylus support?

I think this game has potential, imagine the mic at use with online..
Another potential is the controls, I’m really interested in how the developers will approach the controls.
It’s gonna be quite tough for the controls since using a stylus and the ABXY buttons would be kinda quirky having to stop using your stylus to use do command or something with the ABXY.
I think the use of the L and R buttons should be vital since the ABXY buttons are kinda hard to use with a stylus in hand while playing a fast paced action-FPS. So using the Stylus entirely such as tapping an object to grab or pick up a weapon or so would be clever.
This game needs a good amount of refinement. I think all of the buttons are tough to use in conjunction with the stylus.
Yeah the controls could make or break this game, Metroid Prime hunters had some control issues as well.
True, but MPH had got the hammer on the nail more and the multiplayer is a great addition for both the game and the DS. Not to mention it features voice chat.
How is multiplayer on the DS?
Multiplayer for DS I would say is ok and often times great. It really depends on the game and there’s not a lot of multiplayer games that I have that offer an awesome online experience. I’d go with MPH and Pokemon D/P as the best online feature there is for the DS and you can use voice chat.
But sharing the DS frind codes has to put a damper on the online experience, or are the codes not required?
