Going back to World War II might bite Activision in the ass. Even though it’s in the Pacific and not Europe, it’s still a step back from the terrific strides made by Call of Duty 4. Modern Combat is what gamers want these days. Either way, check out the trailer and decide for yourself.

Write a Comment»Ya know, when the screens first leaked I thought it was bloom overkill. Now that I watch the vid I see its a cool lighting effect coming from a flare in the sky. Hopefully Treyarch is hungry still to prove they are worth their salt. They know they got to make one hell of an impression with the game, cause the setting and gameplay is actually going to work against them this time I fear.
The environment looks like a good setting to play in and close up combat is pretty interesting (sword fights?). I need some game play to decide though. Seeing a soldier running around on fire with such incredible physics would be scarring.
