Another one from the “No Shit?” files today. Microsoft is confused by WiiWare. Shocker. In an interview with SPOnG, Chris Satchell had this to say:
“I’ve been a little confused by WiiWare… The more I look at it, the more I’m confused, because it sort of doesn’t really look like something for independents.
“At best it’s what we would call a registered developer programme.”
Nintendo has hyped WiiWare as a platform for anyone to get their game developed. Microsoft is pushing XNA for community development. Did anyone honestly expect Microsoft to praise WiiWare? Gotta hype your own service. At least Satchell didn’t shit all over it like Aaron Greenburg has been doing to the competition. Oh, and Chris is a big dude, so he gets a big picture.

Write a Comment»Ooooh MS finally targeting Nintendo now not just Sony. It just shows that they acknowledge them.
Does anyone else find it interesting that Microsoft is really the only one of the big 3 that shits on the competition? Sony and Nintendo seem to be more civil in how they hype their product, not calling out the competition as crap.
He looks creepy…

My thoughts exactly ^ .Sony used to be King of trash talking, but even they had to tone it down.I think Microsoft should take a page out of Sony’s ‘PR’ book and learn that more trash talk will almost always equal people calling you Arrogant.
