Don’t rush to finish your copy of GTA IV just yet if you have the Xbox 360 version. Take Two reports that the content will not be available until at least November 2008. From their press release:
The Company is providing guidance for the third fiscal quarter ending July 31, 2008 and fourth fiscal quarter ending October 31, 2008 and is raising its guidance for the fiscal year ending October 31, 2008 as detailed below. Fiscal 2008 guidance reflects the release of the first installment of episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV for Xbox 360 in the first quarter of fiscal 2009 instead of the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008 in order to provide a better balance in Take-Two’s release schedule.
Can’t say I’m surprised. It seems that they want to finish Midnight Club: LA before they return to GTA IV.

Write a Comment»As expected, yeah, DLC for GTA still seems interesting and if they wanna focus on making it awesome they need to finish up some games that are ready. I wonder how it’s gonna be like, it is going to be another virtual copy of the game as in a new story? We just gotta find out :S.
yeah, when are they gonna tell us what the dlc is? Wait, I have a ps3… damnit! Well I guess before I complain I should atleast get to 100%
^ I heard it might be entirely new Cities(Though this is a rumor still)
maybe they are releasing it in november because of GOW 2..?
@CJ, don’t lose hope in a few articles its been “hinted” that there may be DLC on GTA IV for PS3. It’s possible, but if it takes too long for Take-Two to make DLC for the 360 I don’t think people would want DLC for the PS3 by then.
